What are the “fees” for, and do I still have to pay the fees when purchasing at the box office?

There are two fees attached to the base price of all Opera House tickets; a Ticket Services fee and a Historic Preservation Fee.   The Ticket Service Fee is charged for ticket processing and the Historic Preservation Fee is a fund to assist in the upkeep of the historic building. The fees are applied to all means of purchase (online, over the phone, and in-person box office sales).
